Boots and Snow Pants!

I hope everyone has enjoyed the midweek vacation!  When we return to school tomorrow, send your children to school with boots, a hat, mittens, and snow pants.  If they come prepared for the snow, they will be able to play in the snow during recess.

We are also scheduled to have our math test tomorrow on chapter 6.  I will be having extra help tomorrow at 8:00 A.M.

Welcome Back

I hope everyone had a wonderful break and enjoyed the time with friends and family.  We are all refreshed and ready for learning once again.

The students will begin a new project in class.  They will be working in groups researching a science topic and creating a non-fiction book using the App Book Creator.  This project will take us a few weeks to complete.  Once we have finished, I will post directions for you to view the books.

Please send your child to school with layers of clothing.  The classroom can be chilly when the temperatures drop.  An extra sweater or sweatshirt for the classroom would help keep him or her warm.  Also, he or she should be dressed for recess.  We will try to get outside as often as we can.  So please send your child with mittens, a hat, a coat, and boots when necessary.

Lastly, Friday is an early release and Monday is a holiday.
